Katie loves the local church and is optimistic about its future worldwide. Katie is a church planter who puts her entrepreneurial skills to work to launch new faith communities in the margins in Honduras and in Western NY.

empowerment
The empowerment of women is a personal topic for Katie. She uses her experiences of inequity to fuel change. Katie speaks and coaches with the Women Speakers Collective, an initiative to liberate the voices of women everywhere, she is Co-Founder of (RE)SISTERHOOD, a movement to unite and empower women for impact in their homes, churches and cities, and she contributes to Brave Global Inc, in supporting their global and local efforts. Brave Global’s mission is to empower at-risk girls in order to prevent exploitation.
Community flourishing
Katie is the Founder & CEO of Ally Co., a boutique consultancy and nonprofit incubator located in Jamestown, NY that is anchored in the hope that synergy will unlock a flourishing-filled future for Western NY.
Katie also chairs Community Helping Hands, a local nonprofit, committed to supporting and empowering people in need. Community Helping Hands is the leader on the innovative Gateway Lofts project to turn more than 100,00 sq.ft. at a former industrial factory into a multi-family complex with on-site services and local not-for-profit agencies.
Maternal infant health
Katie became Co-Founder of Little Angels of Honduras and a national advocate for maternal-infant healthcare in the country of Honduras after the loss of her infant daughter Lily in 2013. Little Angels has become an international movement to strengthen the voices of infants and mothers through early prevent, advanced education for medical providers, proper treatment capacity in health clinics and hospitals, promotion of skin-to-skin care, and innovative design.
leadership development
Developing integrity-filled leaders who are armed with strategic plans for the future is a passion of Katie’s. Katie is currently offering online coaching cohorts and executive coaching and consulting.
peace-making
Katie is Founder of Ministerio La Raza (La Raza Ministries) in the community of Barrio Sipile in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Barrio Sipile is notorious for its high crime rate and gang violence. Katie believes and invests her time in empowering young people to become the peace-makers of their community.
